The NPC Libraries have two types of books:
Books can be borrowed from any campus, or from libraries from around the world. All books are free to borrow.
Patrons can borrow books from other libraries outside of NPC for free.
Search WorldCat (link below) if you cannot find the book in the NPC catalog.
First, you need to sign-in at the top of page, before you begin your search
Then, you put in your Student ID as the username AND the password.
Now, you can begin your search!
Using Advanced Search can help narrow down your search for the item
Once you have found the item you're looking for, click on the link for the item to view the item record.
Once, you find the specific item you're looking for, click on the box with the green arrow.
Then, put in the box either the name or the intials of the campus or center where you would like to pick it up. You do not need to fill out any other information. Then, click the hold button and you're all done!
If you are not on your personal computer, don't forget to sign out of the Catalog, as it won't do it automatically.
Next, when the item comes in, you'll get a phone call from the library and you can pick it up from the campus or center at your convenience. How easy is that?
